Poem - Campfire
February Poetry Adventure Day 26
Today’s February Poetry Adventure prompt is Campfire
Here’s my poem:
Campfire
It's not that long ago
since we all sat round the campfire
marshmallows toasting
Smores dripping down our chins
while children played in the river nearby
I remember the fun we had
the friendship we shared
oh, how we laughed, so hard
until our bellies ached
and we retired to our tents
our hearts and bellies full.
I wonder where you are now?
I hope you are having funTwo more days to go…
Until next time

"S'mores dripping down our chins..." - such a tactile experience. Wonderful.
Have loved dipping in and out of your poetry adventure this month! This one's ace!
